Windy Acres Dusky Knight - Our Foundation Stud, Died 3/28/16

Our faithful friend, Dusky died at 13 1/2. He was always a gentleman with us and with the girls. He was always eager to "help" with what I (Mel) was doing. He kept us posted about dangers around the farm. When Sharon was in trouble with animals or other dangers, he was always there to help even if he had to climb a fence to get there. He was our foundation stud - siring two litters at one year old and producing 12 outstanding litters with five of our girls.

Prince was a very active dog, racing every vehicle that passed by as he ran along our fence. He was an affectionate, obedient family friend, vitally interested in everything, particularly the man of the house was doing. He put everything he had in his jobs. The last week of July, he was overly enthusiastically pursuing his ladylove over cattle fences to do his job- producing another- his 12th litter of pups. This caused a twisted stomach which took his life. He will be greatly missed.
